Geometry from Motion .01

Part of a series of experiments of deriving geometric structure from documented motion. In this case, a motion through space - I think it was jumping forward from a squat to another squat - was filmed, with each film grab then being cleaned and separated into separate frames. These frames were then stacked to represent the motion linearly (from left to right) and anatomical points were selected and joined in between them to create the above passageway lattice.

These were fun little experiments done early on in Architectural Design to stimulate the exploration of form and of deriving form from all sorts of different sources and data.
