Aes - Ruins - UE5

I've been thinking of different ways of further optimizing potential production pipelines when it relates to world-building - so I have started playing around with the UE5 early access build to see how it can help me out. This is the 3rd scene I've fleshed out in the engine and I'm loving nanite and lumen the more I work with them. Having the Quixel bridge built in is also a pretty decent time-saver as it saves a few clicks here and there which add up in the aggregate.

This scene was essentially put together in a day - though the 'hero' sculpt figure is a WIP creature which is being designed for 3d printing and that took a few more days. As it's still unfinished, I opted to present it as a statue within a ruins scene, where I could get away with having less detailed areas here and there.

I noticed some lighting artefacts here and there - where there's this weird 1-frame flicker. I've tried to edit around it but it might be noticeable in a few of the scenes.

Going forward I'm gonna try to replace keyshot with UE5 for presentation scenes as it helps in the world-building component as well. Even adding a simple environment allows me to check if the character design 'works' or whether I need to go back and work on things more.
