This is another test for figuring and optimizing mesh processing and scanning pipelines. We will be moving to laser scan and photogrammetry combinations next.

In terms of the subject matter -
"Famagusta Gate, the most significant of the gates of Venetian Lefkosia (Nicosia), opened onto the road that led to the most important harbour town of the island, hence its name.

Famagusta Gate is the largest and most imposing of the three gates of the Venetian walls surrounding the old city of Nicosia . The city walls were designed by famous engineer Giulio Savorgano, who started its construction in 1567. After its restoration in 1981 Famagusta Gate with two large halls anda passage , become the cultural center of Nicosia. Since then it became the core of the cultural life of the capital and Cyprus. The place is used for lectures, conferences , screenings, exhibitions, concerts, theatrical plays and Folk Art exhibitions.

The gate has an impressive façade and consists of a large vaulted passage with a large domed room in the middle, 10.97 metres in diameter. On either side of the passage are oblong rooms for the guards.
