This is an older project I had done back in university for an elective parametric modeling course. It was probably the first time I worked with Mandelbulb and 3d fractals to begin with, and I was fascinated at the form-finding potential of that pipeline.
It was a relatively simple approach revolving around trying out different formulas and then arraying the generated modules in different ways. As the project required building an actual architectural structure, I ended up with a form richer with primary and secondary forms which I further distorted and sculpted into an organic canopy, expressed in white concrete.
