A new concept design for a character in the 'deluge' universe. Spent a bit longer than I had initially expected to put this together (even though there are still some evident shortcuts, like perfect symmetry etc) but I like the direction of the final result. The ornamentation aspect came while designing and I kinda dug the idea of the armor component being organically extended from the actual organism itself.

Have started getting into rigging as well, so this might be among the first models which I use to start testing out animation - though I'm not sure how much time I will have to dedicate to cleaning up topology, laying out UVs, baking normal maps etc etc :/
