Tower IV - KRPT Power Plant

Tower concept IV - Power plant generator construct

Mixture of procedurally generated structure with fractal morphologies and their callous deformation and manipulation.
Some parts are Giger-y I guess, though again, that wasn't particularly intentional. Either way, as with the rest of this series, this was fun and constructive to work on - with each small iteration and form exploration, the vision of constructing a fantasy world creeps ever closer.

Side note, I've also decided to include a bunch of more linear breakdowns in an effort to better illustrate the forms that make up the shape.

Some more notes on the presentation of this :

"The KRPT tower is a continuation of the series of towers that I have worked on throughout the entirety of this workshop. I opted to design a sort of power generator or energy extraction type of structure
which would be characterised by a juxtaposition between more rigid, traditional structural elements against more alien morphologies which were provided through the fractal modules used.

I opted to make the supporting side frames to be the primary 'man-made' constructs, relying on a more traditional and linear box-frame construction, at least in terms of the scaffolding structures.

The power core, or the internal part is what I wanted to be the more alien structure - or the more organic component.

I wanted the interaction between the two to be a mixture of co-dependence and parasiticism - but have it fluid enough
so as to be harder to infer which component is exploiting which. Or perhaps to reach a conclusion that what was once a parasitic relationship has become an enmeshment of form and function.

Technically speaking, the algorithmic components were put together in houdini, using the approaches shown throughout the workshops while the organic components were made using initial modules generated in Mandelbulb3d and then
art directed and deformed to create the main structure. "
