This is a creature concept that I modeled at some point last year, but have recently decided to work on some more. It was one of those 'full pipeline tests' where I was testing different workflows out to see how much time and cost was behind getting a concept from idea to fabricated product.
In this case I opted to print it out in water-soluble resin on an Elegoo Mars, which I had purchased to compliment my Form 2 and to use for draft based prints at a lower cost, considering the higher formlab resin prices. Print came out pretty decent, though a few of the teeth were chipped off due to clipping off the supports.
It started off as a bust and recently I decided to flesh it out as a full figure. I left it at a 'sketch' phase for the time being, allowing myself the prospect of revisiting it at a later date to add in the surface details etc.
